Ash Grove Packaging Assists Nebraska Flood Victims

On March 15, one of two levees protecting the city of Fremont, Nebraska, failed. Flood waters closed every highway and bridge going in or out of the city. In this 100-year flood event, officials were desperate to preserve the remaining levee. Together with 600 community volunteers, Ash Grove Packaging supplied and filled sandbags to successfully shore up a one-mile section, saving hundreds of additional homes and businesses from flood damage.
