An option on two of the MoistureShield® composite decking lines, CoolDeck® technology won “Innovation of the Year” at the 7th AQMAT Recognition Gala, held March 9 in Montreal. CoolDeck minimizes heat absorption by up to 35% versus traditional capped composite deck boards, providing a more comfortable outdoor experience. Available in two color options each for the Vision and Infuse decking lines, CoolDeck was voted the most innovative product on the market this year by gala attendees.
The group included nearly 500 directors of hardware corporations, leading manufacturers, service providers and merchants who are members of the Quebec Hardware and Building Supply Association (AQMAT).
